PARTO
PARTO is an industrial design exploration focused on redefining the handheld lighting experience through the lens of human-centered ergonomics. Moving away from the traditional "cylindrical tube" archetype, PARTO utilizes organic geometry and advanced material engineering to provide a tool that feels like a natural extension of the hand.

Traditional flashlights often prioritize internal battery stacking over external human factors. This leads to several critical issues for professionals like engineers, DIYers, and designers who use tools for extended periods.
The journey of PARTO began with a deep dive into biomimicry and ergonomic foam modeling. The goal was simple: create a silhouette that the hand wants to hold.

Ideation & Anatomy: The process started with extensive sketching focused on the "V-space" between the thumb and forefinger. Early concepts drew inspiration from high-performance sporting equipment and power tools to find a balance between ruggedness and elegance.
Material Exploration: Through a series of foam mockups and 3D-printed iterations, the team explored various textures and volumes. We focused on how material finishing-such as matte polymers and textured grip zones-could enhance both the aesthetic appeal and the functional "grab-and-go" nature of the product.
Engineering the Prototype: Transitioning from form to reality, the internal architecture was engineered to house a high-intensity LED array while maintaining a slim, tapered profile. The final prototype showcases a seamless integration of branding and technical specifications, resulting in a flashlight that is as much a piece of professional gear as it is a statement of design intent.
